This Layout i have done is for the Once Upon A Sketch challenge April 15th!! if you have not givin this a go please do!!!!! the ladies over there at Once Upon A Sketch are so talented and just are beautiful people!!! Check the site out HERE..
Anyways Your journalling criteria for this challenge is to write the reason you chose to scrap this photo ..(e.g. to remember this moment, to remember someone, to send a message to someone, because this photo makes you smile, the photo shows a personal achievement, your child's milestone etc. etc. )
Your journalling can be any type i.e. handwritten, printed etc.. and as long as you wish it to be.
NOTE: that in this challenge your journalling can be hidden but you have to say where and show where:

My Jounalling is on the red tag just above the Bird!!!! it is a lil private as this is my husband's grandpa which i got on with really really well, and he just passed away a month ago and the journalling is very close to my heart!!!! so im sorry that you guys cant see it!!!!! but some things are to stay close to the heart!!!

ReplyDeleteToni, THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for sharing your experience with me. I want you to know, that on the eve of returning to work you have made me feel just that much better, just because what you said made me realise that there are so many many mothers out there that have to return to work, so many mothers that have to work longer hours..so many mothers that struggle. I am not the only one..even though thats how i have felt all the way leading up to tomorrow. And you know, in fact I was lucky enough to take Term 1 off because of the fact it came to that point that you said about "this is going well or this is not working". I took 5 months off and now I am feeling a little better because the kids are 5 older and they can tell me about their days...
How silly..they are probably having a ball without me LOL!
Deep breath! I must CUT the umbilical cord ONE day! Take good care and I hope it all works out for you too :o)

ReplyDeleteA precious page! Love how you share your thoughts about his granddad with your family. This will be a nice family keepsake in future years. It is so important to let our children remember our older loved ones even after they pass away.I am so sorry for your loss!
